Each game or software might support slightly different kinds of content in their Workshop, so it's best to check out the official documentation for more details on what can be created and shared in that area. The last bit of numbers will change with the Divinity 2 Original Sin AppID. Within this folder is where all the mods you download will go. If you followed my instructions above to test you'll notice there is a folder in here that has the same name as the workshop mod id. Inside of this folder you will find the mod.
Alright, so for everyone experiencing issues with Steam downloading workshop mods into the wrong folder, I think I may have found a solution. It worked for me anyhow. What I did was I forced Steam and the game to re-download all workshop content from scratch. Here's how: -I manually went through my Steam workshop subscriptions and unsubbed from everything that wasn't for the DE. Hey guys, sorry I totally forgot about this thread I posted. The "fix" is very simple. When you subscribe and download the mods, they go into Steam\Steamapps\workshop\content\435150. In order to actually use mods in-game, the .PAK files need to go into Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\Mods. Although we can now upload mods to the Steam Workshop as of 1.0.72, it appears as though we're not able to download the mods on there. At the very least, the game isn't downloading the mod I uploaded to there (Unbreakable Lockpicks) or the other player-made mods I have seen on there.
